Caring for your Truffuls™?
Woods react to bright light. Some exotic, highly colored woods may lose their ’fresh cut” color if left in strong sunlight for any length of time. Colors can darken or lighten depending on the species. Extreme exposure to sun can also dry out and/or crack some woods.
If you want to display your item in a window, please pick a location that does not receive direct sunlight.
Your piece should not need anything beyond a gentle dusting with a lint free cloth from time to time. Avoid using household cleaners/waxes or water.
If your piece has a finial please note these are extremely delicate, some being as thin as 1/8” wide (as seen in this actual-size image). Avoid handling your item by the finial. Wipe away fingerprints as the oils in your hands can dull the finish. If your piece has a natural bark rim please be gentle with it. Don't handle the item by the bark, the wood nymphs will take revenge if you do. In general, treat your new piece of art as you would any other in your collection so it can last for generations.
