Cindy is an amazing artist with a generous and friendly spirit. I was able to spend 2 glorious days with her in private lessons in her Boulder, CO studio. She and her partner, David Nittmann (http://www.davidnittmann.com/) share their studio home with their 3 cats. I dream of being able to live in my "studio" :-)

Doug is another wonderful artist whose work reaches into my soul. We've emailed back & forth with Terry Scott and others for a while now and I had an opportunity to attend his two demos at the AAW 2010 Symposium and immediately connected with him. I also had a chance to bid on two of his pieces in the EOG & POP auctions while at the Symposium and lost both times! I was crushed and actually cried when I got outbid, but I had to stick to my limit. Once I'm a famous artist I will buy one of his pieces!

My turning pal, Terry Scott & his friend Gordon Pembridge do the most amazing things with wood. They are based in New Zealand. Please do check out their website and be as awed and inspired as I am. Terry explained how he does his winged pieces to me, but I still can't quite wrap my head around it. I think I'll leave that technique to him and find something else to try! :-)

They expertly converted my 'picture' into a functional, dynamic and enjoyable website that works/looks consistent in all browsers in under a week. Yes, I am a Web application developer during the day, but I had NO desire to spend quality turning time doing "work".
