| This design is copyrighted by Truffuls and by Patrick Duffy. My son and I were chatting one day and he just blurted out that I should make a big coffee bean. Seed planted, I grabbed my husband for his math skills and we set about designing a prototype. This are the first production run of the Truffuls Caffeinated Business Card holder. Working on a lathe dictates that items must be round, so these have to be made in pairs. The slots for the cards were hand chiseled before turning. Cards will rest horizontally or vertically. The Horizontal slot is roughly .75" deep while the vertical slot is roughly 1.25" deep. After turning I set about adding texture to the outside of the "bean" and carving the top and sides to give it a more realistic and "roasted" appearance. Each card holder is hand sanded, has 3 coats of poly, and is buffed with carnuba wax. I currently have these two in stock and will add more as I gather more walnut. |

A Note About Prices
As an artist, I should not be afraid to display the price of an item in my gallery. The items I have available for sale clearly list the price rather than burdening the buyer with an annoying "inquire" in place of the price. Once a piece is sold I will move it to my Portfolio.
As a collector of art, I find it extremely annoying that I have to wade through fancy flash "galleries" only to find out that I need to contact the artist to find out if a piece is available and what the price is.
What about custom orders?
Q: I really like the design of one Trufful™ but I'd like a different color or wood. Can I request a custom made Trufful™?
A: Art is very personal, and no two pieces of wood are the same. There is no guarantee that, after filling your order, you would be happy with the piece. I want you to be delighted with your Trufful™ so, while I will not accept custom orders, I will happily take all suggestions for designs.
